Default CEL Check Gas Cap

I know, I know. Everyone wants to flame cus of subject, but I have some other questions that can't be found by searching.

Recently installed TTS Supercharger Kit

P0456 & P0457 (small evap leak/gas cap)

Codes came on a few days ago, but I had to unhook battery for other work, so I wiped them. Car ran great with no codes for 2 days, then they came back 20 miles after filling up.

Today, I used the trick of holding outside of gas cap when tightening down, then reflashed with Evans Tune since going through eTune process, and light is gone. Drove her around for roughly 30 miles.

Questions

Would the codes have already triggered again?

Does reflash clear CEL codes?

With all the changes I made to the car, could my gas cap have been bad, but now car is requiring more vacuum to now run, so it threw codes?

I removed inner trunk work to see if smell was coming from fuel pump, and smell is not there. Can I eliminate fuel pump issue with the above codes? Is it 100% the gas cap?

I also must have damaged my fuel gauge in process of fuel pump install (stays right under half tank). Could this also be playing part of my CEL?

I already ordered new gas cap, but I still wanted to ask the above questions since their is a wealth of knowledge here, and I don't want to damage motor.

Appreciate any assistance!

Follow up - All this would have been avoided if I seated the gasket right when installing the fuel pump. All issues resolved. Phew
