I just received the new blower but had to pay the "core charge" as a reserve for them to send of to Rotrex for the RMA process. Once Rotrex confirms that the charger is covered under the warranty they're going to issue a refund on the core charge (~$1k which can take several weeks).

Glad to hear about your experience but really hoping I haven't just somehow gotten screwed out of $1k...

Hoping to be back on the road this weekend.

^^ That would be me. I can't help but think when I see these threads pop up with new issues and how everyone is getting a new blower and how quickly they are receiving them, that I was the stepping stone that lead to the better service. Anywho, no matter what the case may be, I'm glad everyone is getting their issues handled expeditiously and getting back on the road!

Last time I had to pay the over night there to get my blower to them fast to get the bolt out and then pay for the over night back ...and that was for same blower ... And now by them sending my parts first I only had to cover 1 over night .. Obviously they get it that customer service is key!
And for the amount of people having problems we are like guinea pigs for this new kit so for helping the company learn how to make it better the least they can do is replace our parts .. Considering total failure could blow my engine that I had had for 10 years original 230k miles that I could never ! Replace

It still urkes me to see people having issues and then having to fork out their own money to have things overnighted back and forth. I know you may have only paid the difference in overnight shipping as opposed to the full amount, but it still bothers me that they aren't eating the full cost of it. Everyone that ordered this kit has spent a decent chunk of change for it. And that's not including money spent upgrading the clutch or having it installed if you didn't do it yourself. I know they don't care about all those extra costs we incur, but to put things in prospective, the amount it would cost them to overnight a part to and from a customer (to get them back on the road faster/make them happy) is pretty miniscule compared to the amount of money we spent for the kit as well as the prep to accommodate it.

Kraftwerks is sending you a new blower, oil, oil filter, belt and reservoir before even examining the parts when the problem could be with the installation and not the kit. That is good customer service.
