Cometic 2mm HG..............
here we go:
I had issues where compression would pressurize the cooling system obviously because gasket wasnt sealing properly. I tried studs and bolts very numeruous amounts of times and no good.
After making a few phone calls to commetic they did say to me that any MLS (multi-layer) gaskets must go on surfaces that have no more warpage than .001".
With that being said, I checked the head surface and i forgot what I got for specs but it was right within specs. Then i checked the deck and if I recalled correctly my deck had max warpage of .0002. Going by honda specs my block is still good to .004" service limit. However, going by what commetic is telling me, this gasket was not gonna work and it wasn't in fact. So because I wanted to use a MLS gasket, I sprayed copper spray on all layers of the gasket and to this day after countless amounts of boosted driving, I have no leaks. So the copper spray will actually take up to about .001" slack.
Another thing to check is commetic's rivets on the gaskets. I took all the rivets apart as they often do not line up correctly and gaskets may not sit correctly.
Inline pro did state to me that they have redisigned the MLS gasket. Don't recall which one, 2 or 3mm.
