I've been meaning to ask, are you still having trouble connecting your laptop?

A theory that Steve put forward was that with telemetry turned on it is hard to connect. I just installed the serial gauge which requires telemetry and guess what, couldn't connect!

The secret is to turn the ignition off, then on, and immediately connect before the telemetry starts.

That number still seems way too low. Did you have to run any resister packs for those injectors? or can AEM handle the P&H type injectors w/o extra help?

Still with header, TP, and exhaust, your number is unusually low for at that kind of PSI.

Also, damn that Vtec crossover point is set pretty low. Our comptech unit is not quite the same as the KW unit, try raising it back up to some where between 5000-5500rpm, as well as checking your plugs and oil.

We did change the vtec cross over points.

We tried 4,3 4,5 and 4,9 All of which hated the af/r between 5K-6K.

Plugs are the next thing I'm going to try and swap. I think I'm running 7173's atm, so maybe I'll try something else.

Still can't connect....

Got a USB -> Serial adaptor that failed.

Spent $150 on a PCMCIA card and that also failed.

I'll try what you just said in the next few days.

Think I may have had a break through......

Could the reason why the numbers are low, be because the aftercooler isn't working correctly?

I put the ignition to on. As usual, the pump came on. I cracked open the actual aftercooler bolt to see inside, and the water isn't moving at all, as far as I can tell. I held the hose tight for a bit, and waited for bubbles. None. Did the other hose. Again nothing.

Could it simply be that I have connected up the aftercoolers radiator around the wrong way? (I can't really see this being it as its still a circle loop of water circulation no matter what, right?) Or that the pump isn't working properly?

I have to pull the bumper off tomorow anyway because I have a new AP2 bumper and lip going on, so I'll test it out further then.

But, could it be something this simple?

I doubt it's the aftercooler. It doesn't actually do much at stock or even 8psi.

ANd yeah, if the pump is running the direction doesm't matter.
