I think you should get some corrugated tubing and bypass your FMIC and BOV, go straight from the SC to the TB, makes sure it's sealed up nice and tight and see what you get for PSI.

Oh, and just curious, you had that blower split in half, bad gasket when you put it back together? I never taken mine apart so I'm sure what goes in there.

So you have a boost gauge now? What is it reporting?

I would make a couple if runs with the ur kit and then reinstall the 90
and log the boost with that setup and compare.

Intercooler piping creates Many spots for leaks. You have
couplers, the intercooler, the bov, etc etc. If there are any
weak connections and you will be leaking boost really easy.

It might even be worth while to pull the bumper and give
all your clamps a quick tightening. Does the UR kit come with
t bolt clamps or just regular screw type clamps, if not I would
seriously recommend upgrading.

Try it both ways and get back to us with your results!
Im sorry I didnt even see your two posts! The kit only has the normal (lower end) hose clamps. 5 psi is not enough pressure to blow off the lines. They are all super tight. But soon once the motor is cooled down, i will reinstall the 90 degree pipe and retry. The boost gauge is a digital autometer c2 (its what my friend had laying around). It is tapped into the manifold right now, that is where it has been teh entire time of testing.

any chance you still have the pipe to hook the SC strait into the Intake manifold? in other words eliminating your FMIC setup. I think your FM is where you are loosing all your psi. I lost 3psi with mine and had to go to a smaller pulley. If you could bypass it and then see what kind of psi you make that would be very helpful on finding the problem.

I will be doing that soon. Ultimate racing claims a .5 psi loss on the front mount intercooler. Looks like im a bout to check that out.

When you buy the kit, the blower is fully assembled.

I would imagine there is a gasket in there, metal on metal wouldn't work very well. You can make your own gasket, just go to an autoparts store, they should have the stuff to do it.

You should be able to get all of the screws in there, otherwise, why are there holes for them?

You may have to pull the blower off the car but it needs to be assembled correctly.

Once that's done, we can move on with more troubleshooting.
Well, ill be doing a clutch soon and once the SC is removed ill add all of the other mounting tabs.

I took it for a ride with the 90 degree intake pipe installed and guess what, I had 5.5psi! That really grind my gears about UR, they even told me it was only supposed to be a .5psi drop with the FMIC, now Im gonna have to order a smaller pulley and belt.

Thanks for everyones help!

I don't get why people get FMICs on the CTSC set up. The way the piping looks for the FMIC just kills me.

Is the grill bling really worth losing the boost? :[

If its loosing more then .5, there is obviously a problem somewhere in their system. Don't get a smaller pulley to compensate, fix the problem or ditch the system entirely.

Have you even done any research at all? I didnt get a FMIC for the bling factory, i could care less about that. I got the FMIC for the intake air temps to be lower.
The FMIC gets lower IAT's vs the comptech aftercooler, and even that loses boost.

The problem is the FMIC, i lost 3-3.5psi. I already made my order with Science of Speed, a 9psi pulle is on its way along with a belt. With the 9psi pulley i should be back to 5.5-6psi
