might be a crack in one of the end tanks..... pressure is being lost somewhere.

or a bad clamp, if that's not it, send it back to UR for a repair/replace.

i agree.... connect a coupler to the supercharger inlet, make sure no air can escape, run an air compressor through it and then listen for leaks...

I would imagine there is a gasket in there, metal on metal wouldn't work very well. You can make your own gasket, just go to an autoparts store, they should have the stuff to do it.
Those parts should be machined for each other and not require a gasket.

I don't get why people get FMICs on the CTSC set up. The way the piping looks for the FMIC just kills me.

Is the grill bling really worth losing the boost? :[
the colder intake charge temps more than make up for the boost loss.. atleast with my setup. I had a local shop here in Norcal build me a custom FMIC setup to go along with my supercharger. Although, i lost 1 psi of boost (with 3" piping, too) I more than made up for it on the dyno charts. According to SOS, their 9psi pulley is supposed to produce 330whp, but with my setup, I am producing 335 whp at 8psi. Not only am I making up for the power loss due to boost, but I am producing the same amount of power at a safer boost level.

If anyone has any questions about my setup, feel free to PM me

5 psi is not enough pressure to blow off the lines.
i blew my original 90 off at 5 lbs, but then again there was all that boost running thorugh just one pipe. still, the issue is not necessarily blowing the piping off, but rather having it leak.

aside from that, your pictures look good. there is no gasket between the outer housing and the innards of the SC, so you are safe there. i also only have 4 screws
holding my outer housing on, and i'm fine.

you realllllly need to grab a stock 90 and try that. that would rule out bad connections in the piping.

to rule out the tial blow off valve you could pull it off the flange and (depending on how the flange is made) find a way to cap it and check boost like that. you will not hurt anything ripping down the block a few times just to check boost without a BOV.

there are no gaskets for the compressor housings of turbos or centrifugal superchargers as far as I have ever seen. The clearances are so tight there is no need.

I did try the stock 90 degree bend to bypass the fmic. i had 5.7psi which is what im supposed to have. reinstallign the fmic net me the 2-3 psi.

again, ill be pressure checking the fmic setup tomorrow. from throttle body to charger
