My car has been running great lately but as the temperature starts to warm up my AFR is richening up. I tried to use the intake air compensation feature ( As seen by a couple members on here doing that to compensate for warmer weather) but it seems to be giving me some problems now. When i start the car cold it runs great... its when i start the car after its been sitting for 20min with heat soak under the hood. The intake temperature climbs and causes my IAT correction to start to lean out the car at idle..which causes the car to run lean and stall. Is there a way to make the "IAT compensation" to come on only after a certian rpm or only in boost? When i disable this feature the car runs fine again.
What are some of you guys doing to get this feature to work?
FYI: My car runs on I/J map one tuned at 40 deg F and I/J map 2 compensates using the autotune feature. While this feature works great it only makes changes after i drive the car a bit (driving really rich). I thought geting the car tuned at 60-70F would be better but then on cold mornings the car would run really lean in boost. Looks like the autotune on I/J map 2 also resets itself back to 0's if theres no laptop connected (at least thats what it seems to do)
Any help appreciated.
