These are the hoses I'm talking about.

Blue and yellow.

There is a small vac line that most come off the tank directly b/c it has a hefty fuel smell to it.

The other hard lines go to the fuel feed and return, I didn't bother them, these lines were all connected to the canister or solenoids at one point.
Leave those hoses venting to atmosphere. Thats what I did when I removed all of my evap stuff back by the tank and I havent had any problems.

If you remove all the evap stuff from the car, you will probably drop about 25-30 lbs I would guess. Thats the pump up front and all and everything in the rear.

Might be worth the hassle then. Considering it's 25lb of BS not needed.

Would this cause a fuel smell? For some reason after i turbo'ed my car and installed my aem ems, around a month later i started smelling a strong fuel smell when i drive for a while or do frequent stop and go. I dont see any fuel leaking. The only main change i did in regards to the stock system is that i plugged the air pump hose and Im venting the valve cover to the atomosphere.

You smell fuel because the evap canister is saturated from refilling the tank. Welcome to AEM EMS

So just to clarify, to correct this you can just remove your whole evap system?
