This discussion has me torn between the 2 injectors. However I know there are several on the boards that would kick me in the sack for not going with IDs. Hmm.
At the end of the day, it's up to you to do the research and make the decision. Ask about specifics of the testing process, what data is provided, etc.
I think when a company says their product is 'the same' as another companies product, it shows who the clear leader is.
Who has put all the info out there and proven these work well and who's riding on coat tails?

I stand behind the fuel pump stuff, but can't be held accountable for what the foot does.
How exactly are you balancing your injectors down to 2ms?
How long has ID been in business compared to FIC?
It seems like youre belittling FIC which is pretty lame when they cant defend themselves. Maybe I'm just reading into it wrong.

Why don't you just buy these Chadd.

They come with a flow sheet, and are only $440. Put $400 in your pocket over the ID2000's.

How long each company has been in business is really irrelevant. Paul Yaw has been engineering and doing race car stuff for over 20 years and I have been for 15 years. If you can honestly read any of Paul's articles on the site and think that he doesn't know what he's talking about then I don't know what to tell you.
That article about testing consistency was specifically about FIC, as they're the ones that said what we are doing is not possible. You may see it as belittling them when they can't defend themselves, but I see it as an explanation about what they were questioning. Not my fault if them looking bad is what you get out of it. It's all facts.
The Injector Dynamics injectors are flowed/matched on a custom flow bench, nothing even similar to what is available on the market today. Of course the next question is "how do you know it's any better" or something along those lines. The fact of the matter is it's a measuring tool and if the object being measured performs consistently, it's not hard to find errors in your measuring tool.
If you mic an object 10 times and it measures the same 10 times, is it fair to say the mic is consistent?
