Does this mean that I would need to send my sandwich plate back also? I haven't installed the new one I got from Darryl yet, so I don't know if there is a problem with mine.

Autologic should be taking mine off and sending it out today or tomorrow.

S2000_Europe, perhaps Darryl could instruct you on what needs to be modified so you can have a machinist make the modifications for you?

Good point, see what the problem is with it and let us know. Maybe we can have it fixed ourselves instead of shipping it back.

darryl is going to send me a new plate, since I live 5000 miles from him, costums and did not ship me the gasket paste. once I install mine I will ship the old one.

I do not understand how the sandwich affect vtec? cooling problem, I aslo made a costum oil cooler with a bike oil cooler, GSX 600cc MY99.

Ive got Spoolins "new" adapter plate on my car now; 1500 miles and no Vtec problems. I have a B&M cooler and run Mobil 1 15W50 oil; I see about 80psi cruising, when Vtec hits it drops to 75psi and holds solid.
I want to look at Spoolins plate when he comes up in the next couple weeks and see if its something I can modify myself to make work(as Im getting his old one once we are all said and done).
Itd be nice to see what the fix is to all of this; my opinion would be that it has to do with the bolt going through the adapter(and that there arent enough, or large enough holes), but I have no tooling(computing programs) to confirm this.
