Update. It lives. Idled. Then drove it bout 15 miles. So nice to actually drive it again. All part throttle out of boost.

Small oil leak to deal with. Pretty sure the fitting to the block for the oil feed isn't tight enough. Yay for me. It's in a god damned tight place. But once I get that sorted then Friday it's off to the exhaust shop to get the downpipe mated to the exhaust.

Then tune time next week

It was funny just to see an empty garage, lol. It's been a permanent fixture in there so long it was weird for it to move!

No boost in the video but you can still hear the turbo once in a while. Just double checking everything and getting part throttle and idle tweaked. If it was my car I would have gone into boost at least once but that's me

Using a temp meter it looks like the heat shield was doing it's job. After driving the hot side was 450 degrees and the cold side was under 180 degrees. One little oil leak to fix and then it's ready to go! It actually sounded pretty good open downpipe, no too loud, with the exhaust done it'll be quiet! And yeah, the dumb oil fittings. Anyone else getting this kit do yourself a favor and Hondabond all the oil fittings ahead of time or at least the plugs on the filter mount. Those damn things leaked and we lost time since we had to take it out and let the Hondabond dry overnight.

It'll be fun to see what it does tuned

I can't wait to see this tuned. I'm really happy for you after all this time, and you finally have it going.

Are you still going to try to go with Mase?
if so, let me know, maybe we could get another sfl group together for him to tune b/c Im going to need a new tune in a couple weeks too

Oh and how the hell can you be jealous of my setup when you have this bad boy going now?? lol I look forward to seeing your numbers

You only want to put hondabond on the pipe thread fittings. Do not put hondabond on the cone Style AN side of the fitting.

That's the ones we put it on. Wish I had done the ones on the sandwich plate when it wasn't on the car. Those leak too . This weekend gonna take them off and do them also. Then no more leaks .
