most likely yes, I had 4.57 gears with 500hp and it was retarded...I since switched to the R200 diff (4.09)

Under wot conditions, 1st immediately spins so I always short shift or go partial throttle. Same thing for 2nd if I slam it from 1st. If I ease into second like from a roll, I'll begin to spin at about 5500. 3rd always hooks with an occasional chirp. My rears are 265 Toyo T1Rs and they don't grip well to begin with.

What do you think of the ratio on the r200 diff then? big improvement over the 4.57??

I feel the car is faster, yes, because now I can stay in boost for longer then a second or two

but with the greddy kit would it be ideal to get 4.77 on an ap1 because boost kicks in instantly?

No, the greddy kit spools so fast the need for gears is less.
