i'm sorry, but i honestly have no idea what this howling is that you guys speak of. But maybe it's b/c my exhaust is too loud. I agree the suction sound is loud, and i like it, but i'm trying to think of any type of howling noise and can't think of what you guys are describing...unless i don't have it, but then i don't know why so many of you would and i wouldn't.

LOL you guys are really cracking me up.
If your bitching about the "howling" of the turbo (yes turbos do actually make noise) then maybe you shouldn't have modded your car. LOL

I use to love my louder howl of my old turbo civic. it reminded me of the sound of the helicopter from the show "Airwolf" use to make that I watched as a kid.

Also my comptech supercharger that my Greddy kit replaced was probably around 5 times louder than the turbo.

I wish my car sounded like a GT3076R at 18 PSI. Louder is better!

The "howl" is your new fuel pump. It's loud. Either get used to it, or stick 2 pillows between the fuel pump and the rear top tray to muffle the sound.

Funny....but it isn't the fuel pump, I know what ths sounds like. Aftermarket fuel pumps don't start to make noise on decel and accel or atleast not as pronounced as the noise I ma hearing.

I have the same sound, it is very audible while riding in the passenger seat and only at low RPM.

I think the sound happens more with the stock cat convertor. I put my high flow in and its a lot quieter as far as the "howl" goes.
