Hey Joey, I am picking my kit up today and will also be getting the Invidia V3 or the T1r70 sparrow. I spoke with Toan at P-tuning he is very helpful and also recommend a larger exhaust. Please post your result when he is done tuning your car. He also highly recommend the AEM true boost gause which I am also going to get. Just an FYI. I thought the turbo would make the V3 much softer?

Thumbs down

[QUOTE=Chris_Lum,Feb 24 2008, 09:20 AM] for the testpipe w/ basemap question...

it really depends on how well your setup breathes (ie. what size testpipe and exhaust). I know when we tested the car w/ a test pipe and 80mm exhaust system, boost spiked dangerously. You

I like the stock exhaust... i may put different mufflers on it, and maybe cat and resonator delete... maybe.

for now, just stock exhaust with a 60mm test pipe...

isnt the stock exhaust 60mm after the cat?

Great, now I am up in the air as to whether or not I should up the boost to 9.0 I just don't know if it is worth it
It was worth it to me. In fact I'm going even higher when I take the car back to Toan in a little bit. During the winter my average PSI was right around 9 and the difference between 8 and 9 can be felt. I'm shooting for 9.5 to 10 midsummer.

Can someone with the kit post which hoses exactly they are using for boost? Pics if possible.

With my Synapse BOV, I need a vacuum, a boost, and boost only from the wastegate. Since many may have noticed that I know nothing about FI, any kind of help is greatly appreciated.

You rode in my car at the Dragon what more do you need to know? Boost=grin=good.

I really want to ride in a Greddy Turbo car sometime soon. Pretty certain I would not swap out my SOT SC though.

Parker, Joey and I hopfully using the same tuner and dyno will get good results from the basic tune and maps with slight adjustments depending on the cars I will be getting the AEM true boost and the wide band to monitor the fuel ratio. Got the kit now I can't wait to get it installed. I will look to start around 9 to 9.5. What HP would you expect form this I hope for around 280-310.
