its making 280rwhp on a dyno dynamics, but on a dyno jet it should be over 300rwhp. 310-320 ish

It looks like a replacement for the comptech supercharger, considering the price and the numbers. It just happens to be a turbo. The only difference is that it won't be CARB legal due to the wastegate and other small things. For the price it could be worth it.

I'm warming up to the idea of it. I'm sure the kit can be had for under 5 grand at some point (group buy or something). The major thing that's putting me off at this point is the CARB thing.

I don't understand how it won't be carb legal? the turbo is internally gated, like every other OEM turbo'ed car. it pipes directly back into the down pipe. the air pump and all other emissions are still in place and working. Since it's piggy back the OBD system is also fully functional. the only thing on my car is the atmospheric bov.

It's not CARB legal because Greddy hasn't ponied up the $$$ to go through the CARB certification, which isn't cheap.

Sorry, but you are being too generous with your estimates. A dyno dynamics only reads 1-2% lower than a dynojet.

I dont know anything about the kit...what size turbo is it?
i'm sure with like 11lbs it should be in the mid 300s...which wouldn't be bad at all
