Well considering comptech SCs / vortechs are around the same MSRP and make approx the same power (but way later in the RPM) some might get this.

nice

everyone knows stock ap1's dyno 190-200 whp. so this is a good 80-90 whp increase...very good for a greddy kit.

It's not CARB legal because Greddy hasn't ponied up the $$$ to go through the CARB certification, which isn't cheap.
That sounds about right...

Oh.........
That is EXACTLY what I said out loud as I finished reading the post.

All jokes aside, I think this kit would be a decent FI kit, as long as the buyer understands what they're getting themselves into in terms of power production. With the turbo being internally wastegated, anybody who wants bigger than stock boost (and therefore bigger HP numbers than what is advertised) may need to look elsewhere.

As for the price, it seems to be right on par with what Vortech and Comptech suggested as the MSRP for their SC kits...and we all know those kits can be had for well below MSRP.

Sorry, but you are being too generous with your estimates. A dyno dynamics only reads 1-2% lower than a dynojet.
I have to disagree with you on that one. Dynojets uses an inertia sweep/acceleration method of measuring power, so there is no input as far as vehicle weight or load on the car during the dyno. The Dyno Dynamics take the measurements under load, as I previously stated. It is common to many tuners that the Dyno Dynamics dynos are known as the "heartbreakers" as they measure lower however more accurate real world numbers, than a dynojet and much lower than a Dynapack. The Dynapack are probably the "kindest" of all dynos as they usually measure higher, based on the fact which they take the power directly from the hubs. Granted they also can create load, like the Dyno Dynamics, however as stated before usually show higher numbers.
I'm sure if I dynoed on a Dynapack or Dynojet we'd see number much closer to 300whp if not higher.
Though I am no specialist by any means on Dynos, as there is many factors which play key parts in their measurements. The important thing too look at rather than peak numbers is the curves and how it measures up to other cars running on that same dyno.
Thanks.

for those of you who are experienced with Greddy turbo kits, do you think it will be a hard job to get it up to 9 psi and not have problems? if so, can you guesstimate the potential rwhp?
