How well is the tune? I'm assuming it's a very mild tune till a better tune was applied?
From what I've read / seen, its mediocre at best. Basically safe enough to use on any s2000 (because your AF could be as low as sub 10's) but there is some nice power to gain by leaning it out.

wow, where did you get that intake???
I made it. I took a filter housing/snorkel I had from a Ford 5.4 and cut the end off, then formed the carbon fiber onto it. I basically made a foam core to form the carbon fiber on, then cleaned out the foam afterward.
Maybe I'll sell 'em - its good for 40hp

Yeah, the base tune that comes with the Greddy is conservative. Any tuner should be able to safely trim some fuel and add some timing back.

if you are considering tuning the e-manage ultimate you should just get an aem. the e-manage comes locked from the factory. if you decide that you want to tune the e-manage greddy will give you the code to unlock it. but unlocking it will also clear the maps. basicly leaving your tuner to start from scratch at which point you may as well sell the e-manage and buy an aem.

so its safe to say if installed properly, this tune in safe enough to bing it up to 8,000RPMS, and not have to worry about detonation, or blowin up the motor?

Do you really want to risk a 5,000 dollar motor because you didn't want to shell out 50 dollars to make sure your A/F was ok?

If your answer is yes, by all means knock yourself out.

After the initial install of the turbo kit is it better to run regular oil to break in the turbo or switch directly to synthetic?
