I am keeping my HKS. I don't want to sacrifice the looks or the sound for a few extra ponies. However, that's just me.

Thats a good thing by the way
I know I know. I do love the way it looks. It just.....fits. As for Ap1NvT....250hp? Something seems terribly wrong. There are people doing 280 while burping gasoline. Something isn't right.
Your decision to switch to AEM might not be the best idea. Instead of trying to figure out what's wrong, you are throwing another $1500 at the problem, hoping it will fix it. Arnold's s2000 (blues2k) was running 400+ with a regular emanage. I find it VERY hard to believe that you don't have a more than capable Greddy tuner within 150 miles of San Jose. Heck, I'm gonna drive 300 to get mine done right.

I finally got my kit installed on my ap1 and took it to get tuned over the weekend.
Im running 70mm test pipe, t1r 70mm dual catback along with the greddy kit. I only put down 250whp on a dynapack. I was highly dissapointed with the results.
I plan to go with the aem ems rather than the emanage to try and pull out a little more power but we'll see i guess.

Has anyone ported the waste gate to help with boost creep?
I'm contemplating using a die grinder to port the WG. I was inspecting the flapper valve and there is a decent amount of overlap betwwen the wastegate hole and the butterfly valve that can be ground. The flapper valve should still achieve a good seal.

Three new ones....
1)How are UEGO owners wiring into the car? I'm worried about running the wire near the downpipe for fear of melting.
2)Has anyone actually gotten rid of the VTEC dip?
3)What's the ideal spark plug gap for a Greddy s2k?

Jesus I hope I make more the 250HP, 1st gear just lights the tires up when its cold outside, so I would imagine I would have to be close to that already, I hope to be around 280+WHP after the tune. I am going to Tuan, down in VA (P-Tuning), he has a Turbo S, and I believe ParkerSP? went to him and he did a good job, so well see

I'm not sure about that 250 whp figure. If I recall, my untuned turbo baseline run was higher than that, then Toan tuned it up to close to 280 on their dyno dynamics, which is about 100 hp over what a stock MY2000 s2k does on Ptuning's dyno. Sounds like the tune is bad or their is a mechanical problem. I don't see why you could not get at least 100hp more to the wheels than stock. I know people like to quote the +80 figure but it does not take a lot to go higher than that with the Greddy, even while keeping it under 10psi.
