EVen if you had the wrong harness, the car would run fine. The only side effect would be a CEL code that doesn't impede performance. Now, if the Emanage is the wrong one, thats a different story. You can check the sticker on it...If it says Ap1, you're all good, if AP2, you need to change the map on it.

No codes and the E manage was an AP1 as it should be.

Now i'm wondering when that MAP vacuum hose came off. Probably when the stalling started.

My car had an idling/stalling issue for about 2-3 days. I think the ECU had to learn how to handle things.

Once I plugged back in the vacuum line to the map it idled fine, but since im at work i didnt drive it. I will see how the car runs at lunch after I put a zip tie on that line.

The big thing that bothered me was that it fell on its face at around 5K from the start. That could have been caused by the loose line though if it was off already maybe..

Thats exactly how it feels. I'm going to zip tie it and try it again right now at lunch. It was completely off when I got to work.
Wish me luck.

Well I zip tied the Map vacuum line and drove the car. Car idles like a dream and I get no check engine lights.

I'm still having a problem with the car falling flat on its face at 4.5 - 5K. The car starts to go and then just hits a wall (Almost like a soft rev limit) and then I let off or shift. Talk about a cock tease! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'll pull the plugs when I get home and see how they look.
The E manage shows green (all is good) and no check engine light. I'm going to stop off and get some new plugs another step colder also and throw them in. (8 NGK) also. Currently im running BCPR7ES gapped at .035

Update:

Went home and changed out the vacuum line to the map and changed my spark plugs to NGK V-power (8) heat range plugs.

Then turned the car on and checked a few things out. Thats when I saw one of the injectors leaking fuel. Pulled the rail and saw one of the o rings was pinched and had torn. I checked after install and all was fine but I guess after some driving the pinched area gave way. Fixed that and no more leaks.

Car drives much better and does NOT fall on its face like it did. It does seem choked in power from 6K on up though. This may be attributed to my stock exhaust with cat and base tune right??
I was seeing 7psi on my boost gage which i also installed tonight.

Time for exhaust and dyno session to check things out.
