head gasket and cam clocking questions
The tensioner is sprung and will fly into pieces if just removed.
What you do is remove the cap (two bolts) and unscrew (with screwdriver) a cover screw. You then insert a bolt (not sure of size, think it's an M4) and screw back the plunger so the tensioner can't fly apart.

I had the hardest time finding an m4 bolt that i just took out the tensioner very carefully and pushed in the piston while spinning and inserting a pin to hold it in place for re-installation. I dont recommend it lol.

Fortunately Australia is a modern country that no longer uses cubits, drams and pennyweights. 

As for the gasket, I think the answer is in the second post, yes it will work.
