I'll let you know how the sensor works out when I get it installed if you haven't installed it by then yourself. Also if your looking for a upgraded fuel pump I have a walbro 400 already installed in a hanger ready to go in off of a 2005, it wouldn't fit my car so I ended up going with the fb dual 340s and id2k.

What's the deal with returnless vs return fuel system and E85 and why would choose one vs the other?
Any issue with fuel starvation, 600+ whp under WOT ? Or no issues ?

It will be another week or so before my sensor arrives (back ordered currently). I'm likely going with the Walbro E85 (~450lph) pump; thanks though

I believe the ability to maintain fuel pressure is the main issue with high boost setups (that are returnless).

Thanks man!

Decided to make the trek to College Park (Maryland) to pickup an OEM (style) carbon fiber hardtop; fits perfectly. My Zietronix Fuel Content display, GM fuel content sensor, and carbon fiber trunk should arrive within the next few weeks. Then I'm off to Ashburn (closet E85 station) to fill up and test the new flex settings.

Yeah. I'm a big fan of the OEM body lines; the fact that it's (double sided) carbon fiber is a bonus Not sure how much it weighs, but it's VERY light.

I am also very interest in you running the flex fuel sensor and being able to run e85 with out swapping maps or draining the tank of pump gas.

I'm also running id1000's. On stock fuel pressure they are at 60% or so at 440whp on pump gas and 100% at 500whp and e85.
With e85 you really need 2000cc injectors and either a walbro e85 450 or a dual pumper.

take some pics if you can when you install the walbro 450 in the hanger so we can see how it fits and what is needed to make it work.

Long story short, efficiently you will. There's no cheap way out of e85 unfortunately

My flex map is running ~30% more fuel currently. The beauty of the (dynamic) flex capability is that the maps will blend based on ethanol content (based on how you have your blend% vs. fuel content% configured; currently mine is set to 0 blend at 10% ethanol and 100% blend at 85% ethanol, with the two points interpolated, creating a linear relationship). 'blend' being the blending of the two maps (not the fuel blend). I'll likely start somewhere around the E65-70 point since I'm not draining the 93 from the tank.

My current duty cycle is 63% (15psi) running the factory base fuel pressure (~43psi). I'll definitely upgrade to larger injectors in the near future. In the interim, if I'm approaching a duty cycle that I feel uncomfortable with, I'll keep the boost lower on the E85 (flex) map. iirc, you were at 17psi when you maxed your ID's at 500whp/E85?

I'll definitely post pics of the new pump installation.
