im making a little over 500whp, i was gonna test out later today gapping the plugs down to .16 to see if it will clear anything up.

 

I don't understand how people break the tip. I have gapped probably hundreds of these plugs without breaking a tip lol.

 

With my supercharger at 8k+ it would break up, tried everything ignition related then found out stock valve springs had gone weak and I had valve float. I was running 18psi at 9k at that point. Changed valve springs and was running like a dream again.

 

seems like i fixed the issue. Gapped the plugs down to .18 and there was a small hole in my vacuum line for my fuel regualtor

 

Seen some where on here to go to the bkr 8. The 9s are to hot least that's what ngk said.
