You don't necessarily need to replace your AC lines like Soul said. Just bend them out of the way. I have a tube bender you can use so it won't look so man-handled...

(not saying that SoulCoughing's lines are ugly)

I think I am leaving mine alone, it is more than fast enough and I think I am moving over to Kpro cause of emmisions. I also need to put 4.10's back in my diff or trade my diff.

i don't mean to bring it off topic. No one responded to the other thread so I'll ask here.

What is the proper oil pressure for a boosted application.

EDIT: Kev, I just bought the 100 psi sensor for the AEM. but I also saw 150, so I just wanted to make sure it's will never go beyond 100 because I like the higher resolution.

The oil pressure will never go above 100 PSI Paul.

I think the oil pressure gets up to around 70-75 psi and then dips down to around 60 or 65 when VTEC hits. (That's going off my memory of when we were looking at it on the dyno at Bisi's) Bisi said my oil pressure looked very good.

Second and third gear are fast but forth and fifth aren't fast enough for me.. I want the car to pull like a freight train in forth like it does in second gear right now!

OK I just checked some of my old logs for oil pressure Paul.

Hot idle at around 22-23 psi
Cruising no load around 60-70
boosting at around 60-77 psi

(These were all take from a map in which I never went past 5800 RPM.)

No matter which way you go you will need the discharge IC piping, modified downpipe, add a BOV flange to the diverside IC piping, wastegate, dumptube, and a handfull of other parts to adapt.

There is no easy way out of this one.
All of that stuff is cake and only requires money.

Just wanted to post an update on my car.

The car has been running well. I still have the 2.0mm SCE head gasket in the car with 10,500 miles on it now. The gasket does not seem to be leaking at all and water levels have been perfect. I was having a water level issue and thought the gasket was bad, but found out that the rubber hose in the bottle had gotten old and wasnt sealing properly to the nylon elbow coming out of the bottle. I simply cleaned the bottle out, pulled the rubber hose off and flipped it around and all has been well.

I have increased the boost. I was at around 13 psi for a while and raised it to 14-15 and I am now at 18-18.5 as of this morning. I got to do some more adjustments to the wastegate table and do some more data logging tonight and this weekend, but everything seemed well on my first data log/test this morning on my way to work.

At 18 psi... she pulls very well!

FYI I made my 457 whp pull on almost 16 psi, so I'm guestimating that at 18-18.5 psi I'm in the neighborhood of around 475-485 whp or so.. i want go get it back on the dyno to confirm.. Thinking of strapping the car down to a dynojet this time (Last time it was a dyno dynamics) and see what she puts down at the higher boost.
