want to help me do some exhaust work in two weeks? i have to grind some flanges off and weld some new ones on to get it to fit.

How much, if any, do you think that'll help with spool?

I think the specs for both AP1 and AP2 are the same for @ .050 duration(more for AP1 if you want to count advance duration according to BC), but the lift on the AP2 is larger.

I think I've seen you post on this before, but can't remember what was said.

The lift is greater on the AP2 and the duration in lower, the idea is, using the cast manifold with greater back pressure I will be able to close the exhaust valve sooner which will lower the chance to blow exhaust back into the cylinder increasing the onset of preignition.
