lower vtec to 4k. your losing out on a lot of midrange right now. i personally wouldnt rev that motor that high, but thats your choice.

graph is weird, they are both scaled the same but dont cross at 5252. is that a din correction thing?
To next session, I'm going to try the 3" pulley, also lower the V-tec, and take the redline little lower.

Let see how the things will turn out I must say it's a big fun to drive now, but I noticed that the Vtec should be lower , like you said.

Also that was very conservative tune and yes that is a din corrected graph.

Well, I haven't calculated the labor. Because I own a bodyshop and carpainting company. So I or my employees have made all the bodywork, painting and installing bodykits and etc. Also I have myself done all other work, of course the machingin, honing and that kind of things have done by other companies.

But for parts and labor costs that we cannot perform, maybe $90k is near, car included there

how much is that 2.5 built motor cost? is a complete motor including the head ?.

plz let me know if u don mind.

thx
I'm not really sure.

Inlinepro stroker kit goes somewhere near $4k, and darton midsleeves are $800, valvetrain maybe $1500, porting and polishing head for free (my friend did it, who does the WRC cars motors here in Finland), installing the sleeves were somewhere near $2000 inlcuding the balancing the flywheel and the crankshaft. Plus all the chroming and polishing, plus intake manifold, injectors, etc.

Maybe near $15-16k for the engine without sc and other stuff.

I'm not really sure anymore how much for what, because I started the build four years ago, and have done it whenever I had time. For example I assembled the engine in winter 2008-2009, and next time I worked on the car was december 2009 So there häve been long times when I haven't had any time for this project.

Beautiful car. The pics, AWESOME! Your TQ curve....holy holy...well you know. And like they said lowering vtec engagement..Congrats on those numbers regardless and good luck finishing it up. Makes me think I should have spent all my money a different way!
