Email would be your best bet, if not then calling the shop.
Just DO NOT expect an instant response. Sometimes it does take him a day or two to reply. He is usually pretty busy and lots of times he's also out of town/country tuning cars.
Be patient, don't be one of those that email him and complain that he hasn't replied in 5 hours.

Man. So many decisions. It sounds like if you like to track, then SC (SOS or KW, both are great), but if you just want to have some fun this kit rocks.

Somebody said that this kit comes with gauges... is that true? I didn't see it listed anywhere. Also, they recommend a larger exhaust. Are there any long-term issues running stock cat? Can Mase really tune my car over the internet if I decide to upgrade the exhaust?

You know if people had a satilite card, and tuners could PC anywhere in, lots could be done, with that and a cell phone.... MY IDEA I want royalties if anyone steals it.

I very much appreciate all of your opinions about the two kits. I really believe that the Mase kit is probably the kit I will be going with. I just need the HP. Hopefully I can keep up with my father in his beasts.

Let me know how that works out for you man, I went with the KW kit instead.

I like the Mase kit, but I'd much rather use the KW kit which is going to be a stepping stone for me to see if I still want to go a turbo after. Both good choices IMO.

I too am stuck on the fence between the Kraftwerks kit and Mase's system. Seeing as both kits are in the same relative price range and deliver similar amounts of power (one of the first KW owners here in Atlanta, MrHonda, reported upwards of ~380 rwhp if I remember correctly, which compares favorably to Mase's kit), I would primarily like to hear the negatives of each. Perhaps some of the more seasoned owners of each kit can provide some valuable insight on problems they have encountered:

For Mase's kit (and turbo kits in general), I would be seriously concerned about underhood temperatures... I have seen posts by various people who have barbecued their S2K's using other--probably cobbled-together--kits when an oil line ruptures. Any thoughts?

What is the approximate mileage lifetime of the Rotrex compared to the turbo in Mase's kit?

What is the deal with the KW tensioner and water-pump pulley? I have read numerous threads on here and I am unsure how well the 'new' revised tensioner solves this defect... is it a solid fix?

This question goes for both kits: Are a reinforced diff and heavier-duty axles recommended? Increasing the torque by over 100% of stock specs without strengthening the drivetrain certainly is questionable safety-wise. The last thing I would want to do is put nearly $10K in a car and have an axle break at freeway speeds (this happened to someone here in Atlanta and it caused them to spin out into a semi... luckily he was ok, but very scary nonetheless).

Thanks for any advice/input you guys have had with your FI experiences.

I'm not going to speak for all KW owners like some other people that don't have the kit, but this is my experience.

My original (pre-revision) belt tensioner started making noise last July. Was replaced free of charge with the KW updated part. No issues since.

No other parts issues of any kind in one year and seven months and ~15,000 miles. It's exactly what I want for the car, a rough doubling of power with a powerband identical to stock.

Yes underhood temps can be an issue with turbo kits. Mase has the turbo away from the fuse box and battery and has a heat shield supplied. No issues with anybodies kit with heat so far.

You can also do what I have done for added insurance against heat.
