Moar pics, haha.

As you can see I buffed the shiz out of the tops, did I mention
I like shiny things

If all goes well motor should be back in the car this weekend. However I Still need a knock sensor, because mine broke when pulling the motor.
Also need to buy a new turbo, as my last one was busted up pretty bad after my motor spit the rings through the turbine.

Looking good man.

If you're interested, I have a custom spec'd by UR 60-1 turbo for sale. You can take a look at it in the forced induction for sale thread. Its a really nice turbo for low end tq and good peak hp. I made 581 whp and 440 tq at 25 psi.

Update:
Finished installing the motor tonight and took it for a test drive, it purrs like a kitten. Pulls very hard down low surprisingly enough. Or maybe I’m just used to my beater ford bronco I’ve been driving for the last 3 months, haha. Anyway I guess I need to let the motor break in before I go crazy with the boost. Hopefully, if all goes well, I can dyno once I get some miles on the car

Anybody know what the break in period should Be? I was thinking of keeping it under 6k rpm for at least 500 miles.

Awesome!

Yeah, 500 miles should be sufficient enough for the break in.

awesome, i give you alot of props for trying this out. I hope it all stays together and becomes a viable option for people that don't want insane HP.
