This is troubling...

I had a problem with my precision journal after 8K miles, but have since switched to a ball bearing unit.
If I ever have to replace my current precision turbo, I will be replacing it with a Garrett unit no doubt.
Doesnt Precision use Garrett CHRA's? If so, this wouldnt solve the problem. I believe the problems are 90% the user's fault.

Scott, I kinda wish I would have started the party earlier. I shouldnt run into any problems but you never know. I hate waiting to the last minute on these things. This weekend is going to be busy for me getting everything together on Rex's car and my own beast. Im interested to hear what you found out on replacement of your seized unit. Getting close on time now...

Well, I did not find a Turbo but Precision said that they would expedite the repair and get it out ASAP.

I am sending the turbo NDA in the morning and hopefully have it back late this week or early next week.

I just wanted to say that it is times like this that is the difference between the good and best. That being said I want to say Thank you to Ya @ Inline Pro, Darius (Spectacle), Joey (IloveMyHonda1984), Chris, Kevin and Mase for helping me get this figured and many other things straightend out.

You don't need to prime q ball bearing turbo... They are ball bearing! The oil hits the turbo pretty damn fast when you fire the car up anyways.

After I shut my car down I can hear the turbo continue to spin for close to a minute after.. That's hot with no oil pressure.
