damn, that cutout is sick, great location. I like the idea of the pressure spring, but I LOVE the way my car sounds when I start it up with the cutout open , Rice I know

Well the car is getting closer, I like to think of it as turd polishing

I finally got an AP1 Exhaust system, and I polished the piping and put a fresh coat of paint on the mufflers

I have the High / Low boost switch and boost control working well in all conditions. I have low boost set to waste gate pressure and high set to 20PSI. As for the boost control I was finally able to get the feedback working better so I don't hit boost cut in cold weather. It still needs some work but it is getting closer. Next I am going to try tuning the PI loop boost feedback.

I also had a bad vibration in the car I could not track down. After only a few weeks and maybe 100miles the 60A motor mount bushings failed. I ordered a set of 75A bushings but now the engine vibration is terrible. I am going to make a jig and make a new bracket when I get a chance so that I can used the factory motor mount. This is necessary b/c the cutout will not fit with the factory block bracket.

When I was replacing the knock sensor I was looking at the filter and noticed there was plenty of room to add a PVC elbow so I could recirc the crankcase vent. It only took a few minutes but now there is no more oil smell.

In addition to the above I have the following plans

1.) Take the car back to the dyno to retune the timing. I first noticed that the dipstick would blow out when I was running off the wastegate set pressure and not at high boost. I finally got my knock sensor replaced and what do you know I was seen high voltage at several RPM levels.

2.) The heat from this kit is unreal and I need to deal with it. The valve cover runs a balmy 200-250F and I have had to wrap everything. I am going to pull the mani this winter and send everything in to ATP to have it wrapped.

3.) Fix the dirty old truck smell. First I will add a restrictor to the oil feed b/c there is a constant oil smell and ocasionally smoke. I called Precision and the F and K series motors need an additional 0.030" restrictor. Then after I get the car on the dyno I am going to put a cat back on.

4.) Brace the manifold, there is a LOT of vibration that needs to be delt with.

Let me know what you do with the bracing. There is a slight vibration I am getting right at 37mph. Yeah Mase was right, I am hitting 12 psi now and car feels good. In the spring it will be a full blown pump system, inline pro fuel rail with a tap for a pressure guage and a regulator. I want to see 500whp on e85.

Are those mounts melting from the heat of the manifold?

I have a 2500-3500rpm vibration due to my exhaust. Ill deal with that this week also, how did u recirc the breather hose to the filter?

Who are you having retune it?

i think so... (these are mine before going to 75A)

This vibration is felt in all the cars, the cantileverd turbo causes vertical vibration through the drivetrain. In fact all sidewinders prbably have the same issue but at different RPM's.

I don't think they are melting they are just not the right material.

Who are you having retune it?
I will hone the timing in myself on HOB's dyno. It should be very quick for the topend but I want to spend some time on the lowend.

I mearly purchased a 90deg PCV elbow at the autoparts store, then drilled the end of the filter and pushed it in. I had plenty of room using an elbow and just ran the hose down to it.

Now that is crazy, how long did it take to burn them that bad?
