Now that is crazy, how long did it take to burn them that bad?
ONE dyno session.

After the ATP shielding I haven't had any problems. Looks like yours was warped on both sides I have the 75A only on the exhaust side and there's a tiny bit more vibration

In addition to the above I have the following plans

1.) Take the car back to the dyno to retune the timing. I first noticed that the dipstick would blow out when I was running off the wastegate set pressure and not at high boost. I finally got my knock sensor replaced and what do you know I was seen high voltage at several RPM levels.

2.) The heat from this kit is unreal and I need to deal with it. The valve cover runs a balmy 200-250F and I have had to wrap everything. I am going to pull the mani this winter and send everything in to ATP to have it wrapped.

3.) Fix the dirty old truck smell. First I will add a restrictor to the oil feed b/c there is a constant oil smell and ocasionally smoke. I called Precision and the F and K series motors need an additional 0.030" restrictor. Then after I get the car on the dyno I am going to put a cat back on.

4.) Brace the manifold, there is a LOT of vibration that needs to be delt with.
im having problems with my car smoking some as well, mase told me you only need to run a restrictor if you have a bb, and i have bb

i think im going to tap the front of my pan vs the side, is the oil height much different if i was to move it to the front like you have it?

Scott few things -

Yes, the heat the the kit puts off is INSANE. The subpar coating I had done to the hot side was a NIGHT and DAY difference with underhood temps. My new stuff is being coated right now, hopefully it holds up better than the last setup did. More on that in my upcoming thread.

100% agree with you on the vibration the sidewinder setup put out. If you free rev the car in neutral, you can visually see the turbo resonate like its shifting in and out the current space time continuum. My knock sensor picks the resonation/vibration up as well, scared the beejesus out of me when I first started paying attention to knock count (only one particular night around town I got it over 1000 lol). I'm hoping my new setup with the brace will eliminate this. The plan is to brace the manifold to the top of the motor mount similar to 1SlowSi's setup.

On the smoking - I bought a .035 restrictor from bnr fittings on honda-tech, went to the shop to install it while everything was apart only find out that my 6262 already has one. My catch can setup does not have an open air element on in it, it is closed between the PCV valve and intake manifold. Think I need to replace it with something with an open air filter to stop the smoking?

S2ki really needs to updated their software for multi quote. I can only imagine how many tabs you had to open to create that last response lol

Good info considering I am strongly considering going with a 6262 mase kit, really didnt know that it created so much vibration but then again I shouldnt care my exhaust causes just about every bolt to vibrate lol I wont notice a thing ..Keep the info coming

Make sure if you're going to do a 6262 you have a 44mm or bigger wastegate. The 38mm will creep.

I'm actually afraid that my new 44mm might creep a bit, but I doubt it.

Precision recommend an even smaller restrictor 0.030 vs the 0.035 due to the high oil pressure from these motors.

Do you have one? They offered me one last time I called, but when I told him I had a .35 he said that's fine.

Dunno on a log manifold. You might be able to get away with it but I personally wouldn't chance it.
