I have tried to call Mase numerous times, left messages, email you name it for help with the restrictor as well as other issues but have had no help. Did you get a restrictor for your turbo from Mase? I have had to go to Fernando at CFT for some help.

Resonance at low rpm, check
Crazy false knock, check
Just had to order a restrictor, check

Resonance/vibration I can live with, it's in a very narrow band around 2500-3000. Kinda sucks for stop go traffic, though. I already have a brace made for the DP from my install, so it may be better or worse than others are feeling. Resonance is a funny thing. I picked up some 60A mounts. They'll probably make it worse but I'm going to swap them out and try it.

I've taken knock count off my Tunerview so it doesn't bug me. But it's too bad it's now not worth logging. Saw 100 counts on one dyno pull.

I wasn't seeing smoke until I lost the cat last week, guys at T1 said order an 0.030 and see where we're at after that. Reading this thread, sounds like that should do it.

Edit: Just realized that came off kinda negative, not the intent at all.

Can you be more specific? What are the sizes of the two restrictors?

I talked with mase about this on monday. If you have a ceramic ball bearing precision 5857, 6262, 6567....... They come with a .034 restrictor in the turbo. Do not remove it, call Mase's shop and youll talk to adam, nick or mase and tell them you need to order the second restrictor they are making. Its .028-.030 and they custom make them for the mase kit. I believe new kits are shipping this way. The 90 degree fitting that the oil feed goes onto the turbo with is the new restrictor. Mase welds them up and drills a hole in them and cost is about $15 for it.
