I think you guys misnamed this setup. I'd call it a "system" instead of a "kit"!

Since this kit requires no relocation, would the fuse box and AC lines be safe for 20-30min lapping sessions? Would it be safe for the engine?

Haven't really seen any reliability feedback from people who regularly laps.

It was fine for five hours of hard driving through the mountains during the euro meet and a 15 hour sprint from Italy to France

had it on my car for two years and beat the crap out of it. Just made sure stuff was insulated well

I was sold on this Kit ever since i stopped down at his Shop while i was on leave. Mase was willing to take a couple minutes out of his day to talk to me about the kit and show me the quality of the work. Needless to say, im sold, as soon as i can finish scrounging up the Cash, my order is in.

Thanx so much for taking some time to answer my questions.

Love the kit, I am really glad I bought it first saved me the time of getting somthing and then trying to upgrade it to get to the WHP numbers I wanted. Very complete, easy to install (if you wrench on your car), and great customer support. Mase has been very helpful in answering questions. If you are thinking about this kit but are held back by the cost, wait save for it, you won't regret it. If you can hold off buying a cheaper incomplete setup, delay that gratification, and buy this kit first you will save yourself money. For what you get it is a very competitive price, you could be able to save some money putting together your own but you won't save that much and possibly end up with something less capable and reliable. Plus once you put it together you are going to have to pay someone to tune it (unless you tune yourself, but hey if you can do that then you problably don't need this kit), add that cost in and I think the money you did save putting your own kit together is spent. So in summary:
Buy it, install it, drive it, and don't look back.

Excuse my ignorance, I'd like to ask this here as there are some owners already. The gains from this kit are amazing, 410whp/300tq is great for an AP2. My only dilemma is that I'm making a quick decision on going for this or getting it supercharged. I wanted to go with the KW kit primarily due to it's known reliability and the fact that it's a supercharger making it turn key and go without having to worry about any significant issues.

Some people say that this is a reliable kit as a turbo, but how about comparing it to the KW kit in terms of reliability? Is there a new tier of things to check for? Am I going to need to open the hood to check for loose bolts or leaks every day (general assumption from a turbo thread I read). Other than tapping the pan, seems like a simple and solid install. I will be getting a friend(s) to help me with the install depending on what I go for; but I'm just looking for something that can last me more or less the entirety of my car. I'm not so mechanically inclined as a lot of other people, so reliability is a huge concern for me.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
