Default Needing Internal Motor Advice?

OK, I am new to this forum, but have owned my S for about a year now. To give some back ground, I ordered a turbo KIT, but turned into a custom turbo project. My sig tells it all, and the Cat back was done by LoveFab. (Cha Ching!)

I am wanting the next level of the process. I dont want to sleeve the block, but want to mke the motor stronger and more boost friendly. This involves new pistons, rings, ect. (I'm not sure of all the arts I need, thats where you guys come in)

I want advice on what size pistons? What rods? What other up grade to do while having the motor out and apart. I am new at car building, and have help from friends, but want a proffesional here in town to build it, but I need to order parts, and tell him what I want.

So, I need direction. I want a good driver for the weekend SCCA, or Drag Race events, but also for cruising around with the woman!!!!!! I love my car but want to do it right. Please help the newbie to this forum, and S2K FI owner. Thanks

I've been going through a similar process. I bought a used short block and pulled it down. Everything looks fine but new bearings and ring would go in regardless.

On inspecting the crank and rods, they really don't get much better. I can't really justify replacing them for my power aims (<500) unless I go for F22C crank and rods.

As for the pistons, I am LoveFabbed too so I would like to lower the compression a bit. As I'm staying with the FRM sleeves I need compatible pistons spec'd for about 9.5:1 compression. Not sure who makes custom FRM compatible pistons.

Hey, how much power were you making when you ran that 11.45?

9 to 1 CP Pistons whatever size you want
Pauter or a Crower rods
Closed deck sleeved block

Cryo-treat everything, block, head, cams, rods, rings, everything.
