Default new cometic and inlinepro HG the same?

I just took my cometic HG out as I thought it was blown and will be replacing it with an inlinepro version. My question is are the new cometic gaskets being manufactured by the same people as the inlinepro version. I have them side by side top and bottom and they appear to be the same.

Another question that I also posted in the UTH forum is what do you look for in a blown gasket. I had all of the symptoms but can't find the issue.

Here's what happened:

Cometic made an old version. InlinePRO used their version and modified it; Cometic told them it wouldn't work. InlinePRO's gasket proved to be more reliable. Cometic copied the InlinePRO design, but there still might be differences.

I admit that the price is very high, but the quality is there. I haven't heard of many Inline gaskets blowing whereas you do here of Cometic's going often - new and old.

I have both of them laying right here infront of me. Everything is the exact same. Weight, thickness, rivets and hole placement.
The only difference is that inlinepro has theres stamped with there name.

Wrong.....The Inline Pro HG uses the stock Honda HG which is split and their machined HG shim placed between to make it 3mm.
