I am in NC and have no air...the only time it is an issue is on those 90+ days and you have to sit in traffic...other than that, no problem.
As far as selling the stuff, I have had most of mine for sale for quite some time...but cheap.

I'm in nyc it gets pretty hot in the summer. So far ive never used the ac except when my fiance is in the car so I'm still debating if I should remove it and get the hard top or keep it and save all longer to get the hard top.... if I was to sell everything I would put it up for $6-650 +ppl and shipping is that asking too much or too little?

I've been without A/C for a year and the only thing that has made it manageable is being able to put the top down. As long as the air is moving (even hot air) it is do-able. Windows down doesn't cut it. It still gets too hot.
In fact last year driving back from Myrlte Beach we were stuck in traffic at a crawl and it was triple digit temps with tons of humidity. I put the top up almost all the way but left it hanging open so that it would scoop in air as we were crawling a long at 10mph haha
