Its an LS engine, but he's still got boost! Maybe "herecomesLSboost" is more appropriate.

Any of you guys sleeved?
One of my buddy's ap1 has 40% leakdown On number 2 cylinder..

Looked in the cylinder and the walls look pretty scorred up.

We expect the current block to be unusable.

We plan on getting it sleeved and throw pistons in it.... Since we can't find a reasonable priced block.

He plans on boosting it soon but probably nothing over 300ish
What do you guys think will be a better route to take?

A bit new to FI but however installing my Vortech kit this weekend and i've got a few things im not too sure about

ok so, the vortech kit is going in my AP1 which is totally bone stock.

I plan to move it around or drive it home from my buddies house and im not sure if its safe to drive around untuned? I will be plugging in my AEM EMS v1.
Should I be using the provided base map or something? Whats the best way to go about this?

Also with the FMU, do I just ditch it and not use it and run stock?

stock motor
stock trans
walbro 255lph
Upgraded injectors
AEM EMS v1 1052
Aem wideband
stock exhaust/header

Thanks guys!

You don't need the FMU. The aem basemap is setup for stock everything. You'll want your stock injectors and stock fuel pressure with that map. Also, stay out of boost since it's mapped for vacuum. If you have to stay with the new injectors, you'll need to update that in the injector wizard. Be sure to have your latency times handy for that.
