Yeah I feel like with how long I've been supercharged and how flawless it's been I would miss it. I just want more power. Maybe I will talk to Vortech and have my blower upgraded over the winter and turn the boost up a little more. Going from a 4" to 3.6" pulley and adding meth injection only took me from 406whp to 422whp so left me disappointed. Blower needs a rebuild anyways as it leaks a little oil so might as well upgrade. Will be much easier to go that route but won't gain me a ton unfortunately. Maybe another 20-30whp or so. I want 500+ now.

I would keep your blower and upgrade it as far as you can. Then ditch the meth and tune for e85. I ran meth and I just don't trust it.

You should at least hit 450 which would be hello fun

Reliability and no relocating etc would be high on the list. Haven't really looked into the turbo kits too much. The sos kit seems great however the torque dropping off wouldn't be what I'm looking for I don't think.

Do any quick spooling kits not have the torque drop off at all?

If you're wanting more power, the supercharger just won't satisfy your needs. The power and power delivery of a turbo is soooo much more fun!! Especially if its a street car. I would just run E85 on almost any tubular kit they have out now, and you will make around 500whp.

My Pfab ELT T4 single with a Precision 6165BB turbo doesn't fully spool till about 5350rpm, but really it isn't too bad, because i still have almost 4000rpms to stay in full boost. And yes...wheel spinning is a lot easier to do with a turbo.

What I would do for E85!! Lol.

None near me at all in PA unfortunately. Best I can do is meth injection. No issues so far and have a failsafe setup in case it stops spraying but E85 would definitely be better!!

450 would be nice. That's what I expected from my last tune. Could be engine is a little down on power now as well maybe as it has 193k on it.

Compression has been slowly going down. Evenly but still going down over time. Down to 215 across the board now from 230 before boost with same gauge.

I want 500whp but it would take ti trim to get there I think.

Yeah the turbo power does feel nice! I have a stage 2 legacy gt. It feels faster around town since it has about 320-340wtq but on high or higher rpms feels crazy slow in comparison.

I like the no wheel spin issues now since I can go full throttle and no worries about spinning or anything but obviously the broader powerband is a good thing.

I'll probably max out the sc kit with upgraded blower. If I still want more I'll sell kit and go turbo. Or just sell car and get new gt350 Mustang haha.

You can set up boost by gear/speed to help with traction. I don't have any traction in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd depending the weather and tire temp. What are you using for your meth setup, AEM kit with the meth fail-safe?

Yeah I have the AEM meth kit and have it wired to a nitrous setting in the AEM ecu. If it detects an error it dumps fuel and pulls tons of timing etc.

Modd...you might want to drive a car with a new KW C38 kit on it or a TTS setup. There's a noticeable driving difference between the Paxton blower and a Rotrex. Look at the dynos in my build a thread. Even my old C30-94 (10psi) made more under 7000rpm than the SOS at 13psi. The midrange on my new TTS kit is fantastic! Just my .02.

Yeah maybe I should just sell my vortech and go with a KW kit. I haven't seen anyone make over around 430whp with it yet though. TTS with race gas it seems people have but haven't see anywhere close with the KW kit yet. Of course peak numbers aren't everything but I'd hate to do the swap to not even break 450whp.

You can't trade in your blower for a SI trim? That's the same blower as a Novi 1200. People have broke 500whp or came close to it. My 1200 made 492whp/319ft-lbs.
