Been thinking of changing things up. Been a big fan of supercharger setups for a long time now but I've recently considered going turbo.

If I were to go that route, what would be the recommended setup for quick boost but capable of 500+(without torque dropping off) on 93 with meth injection.

Reliability and no relocating etc would be high on the list. Haven't really looked into the turbo kits too much. The sos kit seems great however the torque dropping off wouldn't be what I'm looking for I don't think.

Do any quick spooling kits not have the torque drop off at all?

Or best manifold, down pipe, intercooler setup and I could piece together turbo, bov, waste gate etc. Have all fuel stuff already from sc kit.

Anyone have any big plans for the winter?
Big plans for me are to finish wiring up all my gauges and b.c. and installing my inline pro kit. And the rest of my c-west n1 body kit. My new wheels will wait till spring. Hopefully I don't get too distracted by my new 2015 wrx.

Trackforged, PRL, or FBM with a 5858. Also, ptuning with a gtx3076 or gtx3576. No one has anything posted about the FBM but I highly doubt you would have issues hitting that number on pump and meth.

I'm bias towards the Ptuning kit (GTX3076R) because I have one. Hasn't given me any major issues. It is easy to install and take off with the Vband feature. There is no heat issues because the turbo sit very low. The manifold is not prone to cracking and there is no relocation. Only gripe I have about this kit is the inconel bolts that hold the tial exhaust housing keeps backing out even with the locking tabs. It is annoying to keep dropping the turbo to tighten these screws. And if you plan to boost 25+ PSI, plan to upgrade to the FBM head studs. The stock head studs will stretch over time. You'll notice when your coolant reservoir keeps overflowing. This kit with E85 makes the car a monster. Wheel spin through 3rd gear. What I don't like about this kit is the 3" exhaust drone and the cabin vibration from the ptuning motor mount and too much power.

But lately, I've been having a soft spot for the supercharger. I have the TTS supercharger on my second S2000, and this car is a dream to daily drive. Supercharger whine is minimal. It drives like stock period. It sits on Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and it floats on the road. The rev to 9K+ (20psi w/ E85) just makes the car go faster and faster without the fear of the tires breaking loose. The car sounds just like stock with the stock exhaust. When at 9Krpm, there is no vibrations at all. All you hear is the engine screaming.

What is the difference? The supercharger gives me pure enjoyment and comfort, while the turbo gives me the adrenaline rush like a death wish.

I like it I do question whether I should have gone with the Kraftwerks kit sometimes, but I couldn't get away from the sound of a turbo.
