I'd buy a thousand dollar shit box for the winter before I did that lol.

I'm about to make two -10an fittings at the front of the valve cover too. The two lines that go to my catch can go up first, before they go down.
This way there is much less oil coming through.
Hope you understand what I mean.

First I wanted to make some sort of baffle inside the valve cover... but at the front there is just not enough space. The fittings are to close to the camshafts.

Would need some good snow tires, but seems like I can at least postpone it a bit!

I do have a $1000 shitbox for winter beater, but it died on me.. Got it back up and running easier than expected, so I can at least postpone the use of the S2k until the shitbox decides to die again. I really don't want to use the S in the winter when they use so much salt on the roads.

Rofl. Buy another shit box lol. Glad it's up and running. Driving the s in snow just sounds wrong.

Quick question I recently went FI (supercharged) and my afr gauge is all over the place when I'm driving. Sometimes it goes all the way to red before immediately coming back and posting a reading. At idle the car reads a a perfect 14.7. Any thoughts? I just need a peace of mind.

Are these fluctuations while on off the throttle?

They mostly occur while off throttle when I'm just cruising. Sometimes it seems I just need to get it on it more if that makes sense.

What engine management are you using? It might be the transient throttle settings need to be tweaked a bit.

Using haltech I think you may be right about the throttle settings. The car runs fine and I've only been boosted about a month. I may just be paranoid trying to make sure there are no major problems. This FI stuff is stressful until you step on the gas lol. I guess it wouldn't hurt to check with the tuner.

I also had the Haltech on a 16 PSI SC setup and had some similar transient throttle issues after my first tune. A different tuner had better results with the transient stuff. Your description matches my initial issues as well. Its like you try to just barely get on the gas just a tiny bit while cruising and the mix goes lean and hesitates, but if you gas it just a bit more then it richens up back to normal and begins accelerating. Its all in those transient throttle settings. Read up on the help file and the user forums about all the settings in the transient throttle setup and just start mildly tinkering with them yourself one weekend. That's what I did and I was able to tune out most of the issues myself.
