Mind you with the KW setup, I'd just swap out the IC and run a better flowing piece...I think that'd get you to where you want to be...there's not really too much difference between that and the TTS kit...I just really like the TTS bracket better. If I wanted to break 450whp it'd be really easy...add another degree of timing or up the revs 100rpm.

It sounds like you are about due for a motor refresh too. Might want to take care of that first...you may get what you want out of that...just a thought...

Yeah kept planning to replace the motor but it keeps on going. Seems silly to replace it when it's working perfectly fine.

Yeah you can upgrade the blower to the si trim for $450 and then a rebuild runs about the same, so for about 1k I could get a sc rebuild and upgrade to the si trim. Supposed to increase air about 15%. Also raises the peak efficiency point a bit I think too.

Yea...I hear ya. Seems like an upgrade would be a very cost effective method to your happiness. Then if the motor gets worse you could always build it better. At some point I plan to build mine but not till it tells me to!

Yeah I'd love to do a 2.4 striker. That would take care of any of the midrange issues I think.

Quick question to see if it can be answered before I start a new thread.

Right now I have a Precision 5857 turbo and a mase manifold. I am looking to change to the new Doc Race manifold, but he only produces vband inlets. I have found that you can change the turbine housing from a T3 to a vband in/out, but can't seem to find if the one i'm looking at is for a 5858 or a 5857, or if there is a difference between the two housings. I found the housing for sale here:

Turbine Housings

Is the 58 Trim the correct housing for me to purchase? Thank you all for you time.

WOw, I just finished catching up on the last few pages. You guys have got some good discussions going on here as always and I love it. I am always learning new things from this community. The one thing about my build that makes me nervous is installing gauges. I cant stand wires, let alone butchering the OEM cleaniness of the car by installing three gauges. I have been holding it off for about 4-5 months now. I think its about time I install my wideband, boost, and oil pressure/temp gauge. I dont like the fact having to connect to my laptop every now and then to check vitals lol.

Do you have AEM ems? If so get an aem serial gauge for all that info one 1 gauge.

You could also match wideband and boost in one gauge and only install two in a dual pod. Here is what I did for multiple gauges. Still onder construction cause I don't like that fact that they don't have all the same look. [attachment=70340::]
