I have a quick question about turbo oil feedline restrictors:
Because the oilpressure of a s2000 is so high, and turbo seals don't like that very much, I know a lot of people use restrictors on their feedline.
But this seems weird to me, as restricting a line only increases the pressure.
Pretty basic stuff, just an example:
If an oilpump moves a gallon per minute trough a 1/2'' line, and this line is restricted to a 1/4''further up, there will still be coming a gallon per minute through this line... only the pressure will be double.

Am I not seeing something here? Or is it all just about volume instead of pressure that messes the seals up?

I've seen plenty of blown motors from "tuners." As others said, good to DIY. Unless you're trying to eek out every last HP it's not rocket science. Of course if you don't understand cars and how to fix/identify problems then you're stuck relying on someone else.
Second, what damages oil seals is if the oil seals see too much oil pressure. For the oil seals to see significant pressure, flow has to be more than the drain can bleed off (which is often -10an). As long as the drain line is plumbed properly, this shouldn't be a problem.
Looks like Pang @ Pfab has a new manifold out for the s2000. Surprised nobody has posted up using one of these. No need to relocation things and you get pfab's amazing customer service with it.

Just located a picture of the manifold mounted

Just hit him up on facebook or email him. He seriously gets back to me within 10 minutes every time. When my motor mount broke and caused my elt manifold to crack he fixed it under warranty no problem. plus he resurfaced all my flanges and got my hot side back to me with in a few days
