so based on this:

http://www.iwsti.com/forums/water-meth-inj...on-systems.html

it looks like a PWM system (like an aquamist HFS3) would be a lot easier to make sure the WMI is starting and stopping when told by the ecu, as opposed to the progressive types (isn't this what is in the AEM kits?)

Is the difference in the times not really enough to worry about in the real world? Obviously the progressive types are a lot cheaper.

I have ran with and without the check valve with my aem meth setup and there is still a huge delay on meth delivery. I am using the aem flow meter to verify. It seems like there is almost no flow at the low percentage pump outputs.

There are many success stories for both types of controllers so its down to what you think you want and your budget.

My Pump is in the trunk and I dont see much of a delay at all, however there is METH leaking from the pump somewhere.

Would have never of noticed if it wasnt for my Flow Guage, it is maxing out at 400cc and it is supposed to be a 500cc nozzle. I went back to look and noticed a small pool of meth, it seems to be leaking where the line goes from tank to pump, I will take a closer look,

a FLOW GAUGE (I think) is a must

Besides my delay issue, that's what happened to me and was the straw that broke the camels back, so after it started leaking I relocated everything under the hood where I can better access it. I'm currently in the middle of removing the AEM progressive controller and replacing with a custom dual stage consisting of some generic relays, water solenoids and pressure switches. The goal being to get instant injection at the desired boost, the duel stage vs single is to better tailor the injection amount to the progressive boost nature of the SC.

Here is a link to the source I am using to build the system, which was provided by a local member/friend UrbanDK. I will be using my existing tank, and using the pump that cam with the AEM kit. I will also still use the low level indicator and flow ON green light from the AEM kit with the addition of another green light for the second stage. I will have two nozzles running in front the of the TB which will work Independent of one another per my boost setting from the pressure switches. I ordered a second nozzle/injector kit from AEM which was $80 The other solenoids/switches needed to make the kit cam in under $150

I think its leaking (I dunno) due to it being ao F---- COld outside. The last time i noticed this it was like 15F outside, then when it gets back up to like 35F and above it doesnt leak, maybe its a seal?

That’s weird. You would think if its got a leak.. its got a leak. You wouldn’t think a temp difference from 15-35degrees would matter, I guess if there is a seal starting to go bad and is actually contracting/expanding from the temp that would be it.

OEM timing for me, I'm at 11-12psi with a centrifugal SC. Turbo is a different ball of wax.
