Ok I'm confused, isn't the stock pulley on the rotrex for the AP2 100mm, and the AP1 is 110mm?

Just so my facts are straight, Juntuned the way I have read it, is using a 95mm pulley?
Is he also using the gates tensioner and not the dayco?
His w/p pulley is the stock OEM one?
How much power is his kit putting out?
How much boost and torque is he getting?
What year is his car?
And his setup since it was tuned by mase I presume it it a YouTune kit?
^^^ 95mm pulley, 05 ap2 you tune, oem water pump pulley, kraftwerks tensioner (not the latest version) 409rwhp.... this dyno pull was done on kraftwerks dyno

Keep it on topic, AGAIN.

I was actually pleased to see almost 100 posts without a KW thread developing into a bitch fest.

Well in that case there really is no comparison between my setup (off the shelf) and yours. I don't know what the latest tensioner is if it's different from the dayco? But I did experience a squeeking equal to a hord crickets under my hood due to the flat spring wearing overtime since it bounces around a bit.

I would really like to see what the Car does side by side heh, nice numbers. BTW what kinda boost did you get?

What is your redline set at? Are you overspinning the charger?

Juntuned is overspinning his blower by 13-14%.
He is really lucky so far that it hasnt blown yet.

Hey Jack if you could please answer my question back in page 4 about your driving style.

Looks like they're trying to blame Juntuned for it.

S2kart,

your results look more like what happened to mine than what Slambo posted.

I will throw the pulley in the CMM tomorrow and then run it in Ansys, see what I get

I agree with archtop, $25 bucks is worth changing it every 6 months. It only takes 10 minutes.

Joaquin
I knew it was a flex/counterflex situation but it was suprising to see some counterflex on the unloaded side as well. Great way to snap metal

Jack am curious on how you drive with your 95mm pulley

Do you do what Texas jack suggested keeping the rpms lower in the first 3 gears then go all out to 8700rpms in the rest?

You've put a good amount of miles on that pulley w/ street encounters..
I am only asking cause I might want to slap on my 90mm depending on your answer.
slap on the 90 dude, your not getting any younger I say. heres the truth of the matter.....

I NEVER EVER..... even got on it in 1st gear.... I dont even think I boosted in 1st gear ever. Partially to prolong my blower and partially because I never got around to getting the diff upgrade.

Im still using the ap2 TACH obviosly which redlines at 8..... so just casually boosting (not racing) I would still shift at factory redline.... only when I saw something worth while would I push it past 8 grand. Usually it was something over 100,000 dollars... Like a 911, M6, murcielago, a buddys turbo E46 etc..... which was only a couple times a week.....

all the encounters were 3rd-5th pulls...... I dont even remember taking 2nd to redline more than a couple times. If the blower fails, oh well... ya know.... its not the end of the world!
