I can't believe I never noticed this thread. Great work man! I'm assuming that TDC means top dead center or something right? I've never done any engine work before so this is new stuff for me.

I'm doing mine within the next week or three so this will be very very helpful!

Yeah I noticed that there were no complete turbo install threads so I figured what the heck I'll document it all and post it so there will be one! Anyways as far as your question yes TDC means top dead center. Just line the arrow on the block up with the first notch on the crank pulley and the engine should be at TDC. Once you pull the valve cover and can see the cam pulleys you can double check this by making sure the little hash marks on the gears are facing in at one another... the cam caps are machined real tight so they take a little wiggling to free up and once out then all you need to do is pull the head bolts and pop the head free. I did it by grabbing the spark plug tubes and pulling VERY hard back and forth, it will come free eventually. Any other questions feel free to ask... good luck!

Bump for more DIY added to the original post.

Also I am relocating my battery and main underhood fuse box to the trunk and will be adding the pics and steps to this writeup. I ordered the wire loom supplies I need today and should have them by tuesday or wednesday. I plan to make a wire loom extension simular to the Frog harness extension and run it from the engine bay under the car to the place in the trunk where the tool kit used to reside. That is where I am locating my Aquamist Water/Meth pump and tank, my battery, and the main underhood fuse box. Then all I have to do is re-route my A/C lines and the area next to the turbo manifold will be clean and free from all plastic items. Pics coming in the next couple days
