PFab / InlinePRO Custom Turbo Kit Install...
i see that when you took the cam gear out, the timing chain is nowhere to be seen in the pictures. I'm worried about keeping the chain in place so it doesn't get out of place on the crank. what do you suggest?

there is an little spot to hang the chain on the inside of the chain case molded into the block... just hang it there and it will be fine

UPDATE 5/26/08 Here are some photos of my progress. I have lots of DIY pics to post up but havent had time to arrange them yet. These are some quick pics of my kit mocked up and my bracket I made to hold my Fuel / Boost / 3 Bar Map sensors. Braided lines are being run from the various points on the motor to the appropriate AN fitting on the sensor. My oil filter relocation is pretty much done although I am makeing a stronger bracket to hold the filter that will be simular to the bracket holding the sensors. I just need to spend some more time with the milling machine and turn one out. If anyone is interested in my T1R strut bar and X brace PM me as I will be needing to sell it since my intake piping will not fit with it installed. $150 plus shipping is what I am asking for it. I have the STR fuel rail and Aeromotive FPR that I will be installing in place of the stock rail you see in the pics right now. All my charge pipes are at powdercoat right now and once they are done I am mocking everything up and then getting to work installing it all for real. The EPS box is in the pass footwell and the underhood fuse box is mounted in the trunk, a couple of pics here show the harness I made that replaces most of the stock wiring and runs it out of the way of heat from my manifold. I still need to make a bracket to hang the fuse box and a cover to put over the tool area so the battery and fuses will be out of sight. Enjoy the pics and post up your comments / suggestions. Thanks
J
