300 isnt much a full catch can setup.. I plan on about 500 for mine.. and thats with having a lot of line and fittings already kickin around... but 70 percent of that cost really is just bling factor haha..

doing it the way mentioned in this thread will inevitably be the best for reducing crank case pressure along with using the return so no empyting is needed..

yea, thats why i always wondered if an oil catch can is even worth it for an FI S2k, performance wise. thats a lot of money for something that doesnt seem to make much a difference

oh it is certainly worth it to run one.. I honestly would never run a boosted application without it.. but the extent i and kutsujula went to isnt totally needed, but it will certainly keep crankcase pressure and blow by to a near non existant level.. with that said.. for a lower boost setup I see nothing wrong with a much simpler catch can setup but I would not run without one

I now carry AB-Speed catch cans/overflow tanks. I have a combo unit (catch can/overflow tank) and then a universal catch can as well.

It's a fitting welded to the pan.

look into peterson fluid systems.. they have several different configurations for cans and are realllly cheap.

I always use the 6 inch round one with 2 -10 or -12 lines.

You really need a drain back on these motors. The valve covers are terribly baffled and always blow a ton of oil out the breathers.
