i'm an owner of the original ptuning kit. So by the looks of the picture if I wanted to run the new motor mount heat shelf all I need to do is buy the heat shield from you guys and drill and tap a hole on the motor mount bracket in order to hold the heat shield on right?
Yes, you can tap the old motor mount bracket to secure the new heat shield or optionally, we can sell you the new motor mount bracket and heat shield as a package. Notice the arm on the new motor mount bracket has change to fully capture the ends of the bushing (left bracket in diagram) vs the old mount bracket (right bracket in diagram).
Install is mostly complete on my car, S2000442 just dropped his car off for his install. Just getting ready to do -4an lines for the wastegate, and install the ID1300Xs, then off to the tuner!
I did mine a bit different, here are some pictures.
Thank you! I finished the wategate lines today in -4an, that was a major PITA. Took me all day!
we never released it but a while back we designed a boost solenoid setup that mounts on our modular oil distribution block mounting bracket with -4an SS braided lines and swivel fittings from the WG to the solenoid to the charge pipe. It would keep the install very clean and tidy. Same with -4an lines for bov as well.
