Question regarding the Comptech SC Oil
Recently I got a fresh oil change for my S2000 with CTSCwAC. As usual, I had the tech to inspect the oil, and allow me to take a look myself.
The oil that came out of my car looked almost brand new, but I went ahead and changed it anyway since the 'time' was up. So at this point, I thought great, everything is fine, until when I'm getting ready to pay, the tech was going over a list of stuff they recommend servicing. And one of them being, that the supercharger unit's oil level was fine, but needs to be changed because it was really dark.
A this point I'm very confused, and replied to the tech that I thought comptech unit always uses fresh oil from the engine, therefore, the only real service you need on the supercharger unit is to make sure you change oil often, and check the belt tightness and wear.
The tech replied that, it does use the oil from the engine to cool the supercharger, but it also has self contained oil for the supercharger unit itself. He then proceeded to show me to the bolts on the back side of the unit, and sure enough there was two bolts on the back side, one for filling, and the other (bottom side) for draining, and the oil was pretty dark, nothing like the oil that came out of my car from the oil change.
I tried searching this site, but couldn't fit much regarding this topic, most results has to do with "for sale" or installation.
Can any one shed some light in this? For now, I told the tech that I will do some research, and if it is something that needs to be done, I will bring the car back and have them service it, once I know exactly what type of oil to use and how much, etc.
Thank you all in advance.

There is no oil change on the Novi supercharger. You are correct, "comptech unit always uses fresh oil from the engine, therefore, the only real service you need on the supercharger unit is to make sure you change oil often, and check the belt tightness and wear."
i call BS, don't believe him.
i am new to the FI world here on s2ki but i am very confident the sc only gets oil from the send on the vtec solenoid block and then runs back down to the pan - there is no internal oiling.
