I use 255 eagle f1 summer only tires, and as rob said, I hook great with them during the summer. 1 and 2 will spin but 3 it squats down and goes.

Winter....well I don't drive the car in the winter anymore and don't want to for that matter. No kind of all season / winter tire can hold the power down. This is where the WRX comes into play.

dayuuum. I figure on the street I will most likely (past experiences) run into M3's C6
s Occasionaly Z06's, Porsche Cayman S', Twin turbos etc......

I am going to have

Low Boost (non Meth)

High Boost (Meth)

Higher Boost (Q16)

I am not sure if I can do a race gas tune, and a non meth tune, if thats the case I may ditch the Meth, or just run a very little bit to help with cooling

I would really like to play with Vipers/Z06's/Porsche Twin Turbos, so whatever I have to do to keep up with them................
dude I smoked a 997TT a few months ago with only making 425 and running stock s02's on stock 16s.

I'm doing a c16 tune also. My 18lbs is on 93 + wat/meth. When I do race gas it's only going to see what I make on it. Run the meth high and low boost temps are down makes more power I run boost cooler boost juice 51/49 mix. Make sure your straight when you hit it and have alot of run off. I get scared even around slight bends on the highway.

Yea especially since I was so close to buying a used 996tt before the s

I wish I saw it man...it was two older guys too and you know the driver wanted to show off for his friends . Here's a copy and paste from my original post on it "As I was approaching the highway entrance I saw a nice 997 turbo ahead, and was like praying that he would go onto the highway. Sure enough he did. He got on before me going really slow in the right lane so I was kinda bummed thinking I wouldn't get the opportunity I was hopping for. So I pull into the left lane not really getting on it but accelerating to get up to highway speeds. I'm in 3rd gear doing about 60 pulling ahead of him while hes in the right lane. I hear him start getting on it and he gets about 1/2 car ahead of me so I step on it....I get about a car and 1/2 ahead of him shift into 4th around 7000 since my tires were cold 4th gear continue pulling got up to about 105 and was probaly 2-3 car lengths ahead! Man this just made my day!!!

I don't know what type of cars you race on the street there, but here I have to leave at about 7-8k in 2nd gear and brake boost the shit out of it. If I don't, it's catch up the first gear, gear and half into the pull.

But most the cars I run around with here are high 130-150 trap cars/bikes, nitrous/turbo'd V8's, a few supras, evo's.
You are correct sir. I also brake boost all the way to full boost in second gear, about 17-18 psi and as soon as I release the brake, it would squat and launch like a rocket. Running speed of around 30 mph, hold slight pressure on brake to hold that speed and hold gas pedal to the floor. Brake boosting FTW!

Hell no, the car needs to be at full tilt, ready to get down whenever. That should be your only tune.
Exactly! One high boost setting is the way to go and leave it there. Just keep good fuel in it at all times.

with all you guys running the drag radials don't you feel like your taking away from the essence of the car - it's handling? Is it all about straight line pulls for you? Just curious, I'm asking cause for me it was about building the ultimate sports car. Great handling which the s has out of the box and great acceleration which happened when I turbo'd it. Do drag radials offer any where near the handling as say a good r compound street legal track tire?

That's why I run Hoosier r6's they have a stiff side wall they are for road racing also but suprisingly hold alot of power. When I had my nitro drags on my ap2 v1 wheels the back end felt loost because of the soft side wall for better straight line traction. My car handles the same I am on stock suspension also.

what mickey's are you running and referring to?

Are you talking about the Drag Radials, or the actual drag slick?
