Default Quick question when installing upgrades

I've been stock piling a bunch of parts and am finally getting around to installing them. I know I'm going to need a tune after they're installed, but wanted to know what I can get away with installing prior to the tune for the drive over?

I currently have the SoS Stage 2 kit on the stock pulley, and am tuned on the AEM EMS2.

Here's a list of stuff I've got piled up:

- J's Racing Header
- Ballade Sports 70mm throttle body
- Stock IM will be bored out shortly to 69mm
- ID1000 injectors (upgrade from RC650)
- NGK 8's
- 3.2" SoS Pulley

What can I safely install without risking damage to the car and still drive it to my tuner (~1 hour away)? The car isn't tuned too aggressively so I was thinking I could install all of it and then limp it over for the tune.

Any suggestions?

You'll need to update the flow and dead time settings for the injectors in order to get it to run well enough to drive over there. Everything else should be OK as long as you drive it like a grandma and watch your AFR gauge like a hawk on the way.

What Coolguy said. Also, Post up the numbers after a retune! I am curious as to what you'll make cause i'll be SOS supercharged very soon.

Appreciate it, that's what I figured.

I've got my AEM Serial hooked up so I can definitely keep an eye on things - should I just hold off on installing the injectors?

That's another option. I've swapped injectors quite a few times now and it doesn't take more than 10 minutes or so to do it. Might just be easier to do it on the dyno and have your tuner worry about those settings.

That's what I did drove the car to the tuner swapped injectors and map sensor in the parking lot then let the tuner take over from their. Make sure you show up early to let the car cool down some before trying to swap injectors good luck.
